Halloween 2008
I’m not usually one to celebrate Halloween. I don’t know… maybe it’s just me, but it just seems like too much of an opportunity for crazy people to commit crimes in disguise. This year, Halloween was on Friday and my friend Arman invited me to a party he was throwing, so I had a reason to go out.
Earlier in the day I made plans to bring my friend Adam to the party with me. Unfortunately we don’t hang out very much. He and I went out together last Wednesday and I had a great time, so I was looking forward to doing it all over again. I got a call from his boyfriend roommate boyfriend at around 5:30 p.m. saying that Adam wasn’t going to be able to make it and he was going to join me instead. As much as I like his boyfriend (which lately isn’t that much), I really wanted to hang out with Adam and I was kind of disappointed. Regardless, I took a nap and then headed out around

Recently it seems like I’ve been remembering more of my dreams. When you add my new found love for daytime naps to my existing sleep cycle the memories add up quickly. I’m still having the Recurring Dream where I am in my last few weeks of high school and find out that I’m not going to graduate. Right before I wake up I realize that I already graduated and it must be a dream.
The other night the dream took a new twist that involved my father blaming me not graduating on a drug problem (by the way - I drank in high school, but was not involved in drugs). I respond by yelling that I’m sober I’ll take a drug test to prove it. Hmm…
Yesterday during a nap my dream involved several different things: the Ford Expedition I used to own, several former co-workers all dressed in black suits, buried treasure [or something of importance that was hidden] in a field, a park with concrete roads that went through it, and the house my family lived in while I was in
