Zodiac Update

So, apparently there’s more to this zodiac compatibility thing than I originally thought. In case you were wondering, it didn’t really work out with the Brown Leo (yes mom, the guy from TV). No problems, though. We still chat and hang out, so I’m happy with that. I had a few Cancers in the pipeline and one of the first to bite seems to have stuck around. That’s usually the tough part because I feel like my personality can scare some people away. He’s really cute too. Oh, and he takes me out. We had a blast at the Kylie concert last week. I’m surprisingly anxious for him to return from a week-long vacation tomorrow. That’s all I’ll say now.

In addition to some friends who are more knowledgeable on the topic than me, I’ve learned a lot about being a Scorpio by following @ZodiacFacts on Twitter. Well, I wouldn’t say learned as much as confirmed. Here are some examples:

As a Scorpio, people sometimes feel threatened by you, which can be an obstacle to closeness.

YUP!

Once the Scorpio sign has claimed you, it’s hard to shake them loose.

Probably.

As a Scorpio you will come into contact with those who not only appreciate your good qualities, but promote and showcase them, as well.

That’s definitely been my experience.

As a Scorpio, you’ll get someone to open up by making it feel safe for him or her to do so.

Both a blessing and a curse sometimes. :)

As a Scorpio you’re able to make logical decisions that are based on the facts, and your calm demeanor commands respect.

Most definitely.

Another fun source of Scorpio knowledge is @ScorpioSeason.

Scorpios observe people when they think nobody is paying attention, in their truest form.

What about you? Any zodiac stories? My friend Kathleen was recently reading up on what her sign and she’s decided that she’s a true Gemini. Coincidentally, Scorpios and Geminis are an ideal sex match. Hmm… :)

If you’re not already doing so, you should probably follow me on Twitter. WARNING: I’ll unintentionally annoy the hell out of you if you dislike reality TV. Otherwise, I’m pretty entertaining (and always posting more things I learn about being a Scorpio).

Yes, David K. (spelled Kae)

Y’all know me as David K., so when I decided to spell it out to be more formal I wasn’t expecting so much commentary. Now I’m David Kae. Yeah, kinda Asian sounding, but I like Asian guys. No big deal, right? I mean, so many of my friends have changed their names on Facebook to

Happy Near You!

… err, um… Happy New Year! Yes, it’s 2011 (pronounced twenty eleven, although I’m in the habit of saying two-thousand eleven). Last year seemed to fly by and I’m not really sure to think about it. It seems like I did a lot of the same things, but that doesn’t really bother me. Should it?

That’s What I Get For Waking Up In Vegas

It’s been quite a weekend and another memorable birthday celebration. Last Thursday I turned 28 and flew out to Las Vegas for a few days of fun and family bonding. Yes, I said family bonding and I guess to some that would sound a little weird.  I’m lucky to have been blessed with really cool
